I will not definitely take credit for this as my wife really did all of the work, but I just want to share it with everyone, that there are people out there that are somewhat guardian angel to others. 

Some of us really can not understand some of the difficulties of other people until we are in their shoes. It is also hard sometimes to extend our help if you are also one of the affected. Unless you become a bridge to other people that are willing to help and have the capacity to extend it further. The story that I wanted to share is the story of what happened to my wife when she became a bridge to other people to reach the help they need.

My wife has still communication with her instructors back in College. She always got invited to some fundraising events like raising funds for the shoes of students that are taking up engineering. Its just shoes but, for a family that has enough, your shoes from your first year might be the only shoes you can buy for the rest of your college life especially if you are taking engineering. After all, classes were canceled because of the pandemic, my wife informed me that his instructor in college has funds to reach out to families that are greatly affected by the pandemic. We have a friend that has a sister that has a kid with special needs. We contacted our friend’s sister that someone would want to extend the help and asked her if there are others that have a similar situation. We got the funds through GCash to help 5 families that have kids with special needs. My wife bought items for the kids’ diapers, milk, and some toiletries and disinfectants. The project continued and now it helped the front liners that are in the checkpoints ensuring all people that go in and out are complying with the quarantine protocols. Those front liners have a feast that day, my wife ordered food for them that evening. Next, they helped the medical team in a local hospital that is handling dialysis patients that has COVID-19. My wife sent food as well for the whole team so they can eat a decent meal that night.

We do not have a monetary contribution to those instances, my wife only gave her best to reach those people that are in need. Maybe it is just a one time help but to those people that received will never forget that there are people appreciates whatever it is that they do. Everyone contributes on their own small ways so we can all heal as one.
