The reason you think Grace is a license to sin is because you're still alive to sin.
The dead ones CAN'T continue, even if they are given a license. That was why Paul the apostle said "GOD FORBID" for we who are dead to sin to continue in it thereof. He saw that it was not possible for dead men to rise again and continue. (ROM 6:2)
Paul's "GOD" was not FORBIDDING that Grace should not be used as a license to sin, but that it was not possible for men who are dead to sin to still continue in it.🙁 ROM 6;3)
 Grace cannot be used as a license to sin. Its either a man is dead to sin(making him righteous) or he is still alive to sin, (making him a hell candidate) Its either you are SAVED or you are not SAVED. Nobody can be SAVED and not SAVED at the same time.
Is it not an abomination for you to see someone who died on your street some days back still walking along the street? That was why he forbade it, cause its a Serious TABOO.
If a man is saved, then he is carrying the image Of God, (give to God what belongs to God) and vise versa. Paul is not a daft, he knew that it was not possible to die to something and still be alive to it. (ROM 6:7)
The controversy with this scripture is that, my generation get to where he said "GOD'FORBID" and stop there, they don't care to go forward and read the reason why he said "God forbid" (ROM 6:2-7) That is why anybody can just hold mic and tell people that Grace is a license to sin, when it cannot even be used as a license.
This Grace and truth we are talking about came through Jesus Christ , are you saying that Jesus left heaven to come and give us a licence to sin? Habaaaa! you self check am na!
I know you mean to say people are using Grace to do evil. Yes! I understand, that's why am still telling you that its not Grace they are using, they are still suffering from an unrenewed mind. GRACE CAN NEVER BE USED AS A LICENSE TO SIN.
Respectfully speaking, When I see someone say or think grace is a license to sin, immediately it kills my appetite to hearing from you, cause you sound like a babe to me, no seriously.
Am sorry if that sounds mean, just stop saying it, its irritating already, especially if you are a leader in church, stop it. 
People can be taken away from Babylon, but if their minds are not renewed, they will still behave like Babylonians. The children of Isreal were still behaving like slaves in the wilderness even after they left Egypt, because they left Egypt but their minds didn't leave.
That is why, if the church will hold on to the truth of God's word without compromise for fame, money and crowd, if the church will return to its basic purpose of transformation, the body will become strong again. It is well! 
May God  continue to help and purify our minds from deception and imbalance.
