For the past couple of years, my mantra has always been “Miracles happen everyday.” I believe that whenever we're in a bad place or dealing with a difficult situation, we just have to focus on the things that will give us hope and I call it miracles. I've been in a lot of situations that made me believe in my mantra even more. I've learned that miracle is not an idea. People are miracles. Animals are miracles. Everything that gives us light are miracles. But this coming 2020, I decided to live with a new mantra. “Pressure makes diamonds.” I've always believed that every challenge is a way of life saying that, “You can handle this. You're going to be okay.” We may not always be our best and positive self and it's okay. It's okay to feel down and lost sometimes. Embrace it. This is a way to discover yourself; what you want and what you need. Just know when to pick yourself up again. You'll thank life later. I've read somewhere that if you're not happy with your life, it is your responsibility to change it. Life is never going to be perfect but we can always satisfy ourselves by choosing to make mistakes, to learn and to grow. I've reached the age where I have no time to whine about dealing with hard situations, but instead feel grateful for it. I do believe that all these things that exhaust us and hurt us now are the reasons why we will shine tomorrow. sae
