Hooray, Manileños! Time for some good news, in the midst of the “not-so-good” ones. :) Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has recently approved a PHP 200-Million allocation for Covid-19 vaccines for the residents of the city, should the vaccine be available sooner. The Manila Mayor posted on his official Facebook account that he already signed the Ordinance No 8659, today August 6, 2020, allowing a budget for the purchase of Covid-19 vaccines currently being developed by the US-based vaccine research developer, Moderna Inc. What a relief for most of the Manila City residents for this kind of aid, the city government is providing. We do hope that we as citizens, musg continue to follow all the protocols and safety measures, the city and the Philippine government are imposing to win this war against Covid-19. Keep the faith!
