Life of an online ESL teacher.

Being an ESL teacher is never easy. You'll get to have good and rude students all the time. You have to be patient and understand what your students need to learn and love the English language. SMILE. Smile is the key. Smile even when you almost want to lose your temper for a student who doesn't want to listen to you. Smile even when they throw tantrums during the class. Smile even when they show their middle finger during the class. Sigh!

After a 3 month break from my ESL job, I noticed that even though I have a lot of regular students only 3-4 of them enter my class like almost every day after I came back and most of them are just the same students. I felt very sad(and thankful still). The fear of losing my 3year online ESL job is becoming real. I am losing hope. I want to cry because I have a son to feed. I don't know what to do. :(

However, I realized there are other ESL companies I can apply. I should not close the opportunity and think that there's no other company better than what I have now. Yes, the salary is quite decent and that made me stay for three long years but now I think I need to have another plan. I need to explore the Online ESL teaching world and find a much better company to apply. Now, while making this content I am also applying for a different company and hoping to pass the process and start right away.
