If you feel like being step down by others on your workplace, don't let it get to you. They are people who are just insecure that you might be better than them.  And I bet that you are! Don't waste time thinking about it and just go on, do your best at work and let your boss see that. Eventually, all your hard work will pay off. Just remember when you have reached the top, don't ever step down on anybody.
