How to be confident?

How to be confident? This is my first time sharing this kind of stuff in the internet. I hope everyone is doing okay amid this pandemic, keep going we will get through all of this together. Everything's gonna be alright soon. So there you go, I am currently working from home due to Covid 19. I consider myself very lucky and blessed for being able to work from home. All of us are affected, I know a lot of people have been experiencing financial issues right now, I just want you to know that you are not alone in this trying times, always look on the bright side.

Since March, the moment that President Duterte declared lockdown in Metro Manila, we started working remotely. Everyday we were attending zoom meeting to be more productive. Fast forward, everyday our managers, trainers and superiors have been discussing different topics that might benefit everyone in a way of being a better person. Each day that we attend the zoom meeting, I always learned new things. Today on our zoom meeting, we talked about "Four Keys on being confident", I would say that being confident is too difficult to achieve especially if you are a shy type person or if you have very low self-esteem. Even I, during my elementary, high school and even up to college, I was not confident enough, the fact that I've been bullied made me feel that I was just a nobody. There may be a lot of factors that will contribute for your confidence. One thing is for sure, being confident does not happen overnight, it takes time, effort and hardwork. Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together according to Marilyn Monroe. Confidence is learned. It comes from within. Confidence is the ability to have self-assurance and awareness. Being confident is how we view ourself from our outer- shell to our inner- shell. Setting goals will definitely help you on boosting your confidence. Every time that you accomplish one of your goals, you would feel better, wanna know why? Because you believed in yourself that you could do certain things. Believing in yourself is the first step on how to be confident. Once yo believe in yourself, the rest will follow. At the end of the day, you would say that it was you who matter, it was you all along.

Some people are afraid when it comes to speaking in public or even in a group of people. The reason is people are afraid to be judged by other people. We tend to overthink that society will judge the way we speak, the way we act or the way who we are. Overcoming this fear will make you confident. First, focus on your goals, believe in yourself and never ever let other people's opinion to destroy you. The moment that you stop caring for other people's opinion that's the moment that you are being confident, because you know yourself better compare to them. They don't know who you are, they have no idea what you have been through, they don't know the struggles or challenges that you overcome. You don't have to impress people, we are not born to please everyone. Imagine, if we live in a world where everyone was the same. How tedious would our world be? No one has ever walked in your shoes and no one has the right to judge you. Having self-assurance makes you confident because a wise person knows no matter how hard life can get it, it is always important to know your self-worth. Self- assurance cannot be replaced. Self-worth is your reputation. Like glass, once broken, it will be harder to put together. Everything happens for a reason. Lessons learned made us who we are. Self-worth is not forgetting where you come from and who you are. At the end of the day, you are who you for a reason. Nobody has the right to take that away.

Be that strong person that everyone knew would make it through the worst, be that fearless person, the one who would dare to do anything, be that independent person, who didn’t need everyone; be that person who never backed down.

Love yourself, be confident!

Thanks for reading, I hope you're having a blast today. Please keep safe always :) YOU ARE LOVED!
