Fighting your worries

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14)

My precious friend, today’s promise is taken from Exodus 14:14. This verse says “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Yes, the Lord will perfect everything concerning you and you only need to be still! The Lord asks you to be still and know that He is God. Friend, do not be afraid. Maybe you are worried thinking how to fight your battles against the enemies before you; what you should do because you have lost everything and have many questions to be answered. May be you think you do not have anybody to love you, do not know how to care for your family with many needs in life; or wondering how to overcome the many obstacles that are stopping your progress.

However, the Lord says: ‘My child, be still and this is the time for you to know that I am God. I will fight for you. Jesus has fought for your every problem by going through them on the cross and has overcome them and risen alive. My child, be still and declare that I am God in your life and watch Me do everything for you. Through you I will be exalted as God in the world.’ Secondly, the Bible says in Deuteronomy 20:4, “The Lord your God is He who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.” The Lord says: ‘I will take care of your enemies. You just love your enemies and show them my love. I will fight and change their lives or I will fight and remove them from your life.’

God will fight for you by pouring His abundant life upon you. The demon powers and works will be destroyed by God. Through all this, as promised in Jeremiah 29:11, God will fulfill all the plans He has for your life and give you a future. Be of good cheer and walk into a day, where God has planned everything for you! No evil will prevail against you. The Lord will fight for you and you will have peace.

My loving Heavenly Father,
Thank You for today’s promise. Thank You for making me Your child and keeping me under Your care. I lay down all my worries and problems at Your feet. May You be exalted through my life by doing everything for me.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
