Travel With Me! #DREAMTRAVEL

When I was in Senior high school, we have this portfolio for Philosophy class. Our teacher once asked us to write things we would like to do in the future. We were encouraged just to write everything we really want to do as long as it's not absurd, since there's no harm in dreaming big. Well, I love that activity so I just listed all what my heart wants. I remember writing there more about traveling. I haven't travel that much when I was young since traveling is definitely just a luxury for us, due to our financial status. I've only came to visit some place if it was a treat or free of charge. As I grew up, I learn to travel with my friends... ofcourse, not without my parents' permission. I remembered when my bestfriend and I were stressed out at school or at on-the-job-training, we'll just go somewhere unplanned to unwind. Sometimes, we've even go to other cities on our own as long as we have money. I always thought how traveling is so therapeutic.

Going back to my portfolio, I've wrote several places there and included even those famous ones like Disneyland in Tokyo and California (I love Disney animations!). The Hogwarts Castle especially in Universal Studios (Since I'm a Potterhead eversince). Ofcourse, my top three places: Israel (where Holy Land is), Japan (eversince I learned how clean and disciplined there;I also love the Japan's nature) and Italy ( to visit Vatican ). When we've shared some of these in class, I've learned how most of my classmates would also love to go the places I've want to visit someday. It was fun activity to reminisce, actually. It's like we could really fulfill it someday and we can all meet at one of the place we have a common interest. Yet as days passed by, we graduated. To be honest, I've already forgot about the activity and our dreamy selves. Ofcourse, many things have happened and I became busy at online class.

One time, I was just bored and saw my portfolio so I tried browsing it. I can't stop smiling at what I've wrote there. I feel so ambitious back then. But as I try to recollect the excited feeling like before, when I'm still writing it, or when I'm still sharing it on class...I somehow felt empty. I don't think I still have the same anticipation of my dreams. It is when I've realized that dreaming isn't just about how far you will go. It's also about the people you're with when you build that dream. In a start of a race, isn't it much motivating if someone in the audience is looking at you with cheerful eyes? Making you feel how they believe in you,and that you can do it? It's also about who you will be with, when you pursue that dream. Consider a race without the other competitors or your team, is it still worth it? I somehow think that, so what if you've reached a finishline but only to find out that you're the only one there?

I remembered my traveling experiences. As much as I want to visit different places, I always prefer it with someone, a family or a friend. I think it's just much enjoyable and meaningful. So as I tried to read my portfolio again, I smiled at the words that were added which are " with my family and/or friends."

No matter where my dream travel is, I want to accomplish it with a loved one. Cause in traveling, wonderful places can be healing, but only wonderful people makes the moment fulfilling.
