The stories of three people who struggle in life and who had experienced the worst this world could ever give. Let me start with the story of Lito. Lito was once a dreamer. When he was still young, he used to say that he really wanted to become a soldier to fight for the country against the leftists. He said that he is very much willing to sacrifice his life so others' lives will never be at risk. But Lito's family was massacred one night. His two brothers and his parents were killed with only him being spared from what could have been an early death. From that day onwards, Lito halted from everything. He became a complete mess and discharged himself from being a good and law-abiding person. Later on, Lito joined the leftists but surrendered afterwards. Now, he serves the country as a reserved Army officer. John, meanwhile, is an underprivileged man residing in the hopeless sides of Tondo. He used to beg for alms so he could pursue his studies and eventually attain his goal to become a well-known artist. Their home's walls are all painted with murals which the sadness of the rubbish tend to hide. One night, John was caught stealing so he could have the money to fund his projects. He was sent to Boy's town and was eventually changed. A childless couple adopted John and sent him to school for Fine Arts. John now resides in the United States as a famous mural artist. The third man is Carl. He was born in a family less complete. The situation did not motivate him at all for he longs for the care and love of a family with members all present in a long table during each meal. But he was never given the chance to. As he wandered the journey of life, he later on realised that he is rooting for something else. A dream. And this dream is quite atypical since he wants to sail the world in pursuit of the portions to complete him. After years of strong faith and hard work, who would know that the Carl so incomplete before will be the owner of the biggest shipping line in the country? Everyone, we are the reflections of those men. We are Lito, John and Carl who all have different and extraordinary dreams. We dream for a purpose. Lito's dream was not stopped just because he lost everything. John's dream was still obtained despite doing something which is not good. Carl's dream was achieved even though the incompleteness in him continues to prevail. Listen, we all have this 'I want to be a' thing in our minds but we may question ourselves if we really would be able to achieve those. Years and decades may pass but we may end up becoming nothing because we let that happened. Our past, our failures, our incompleteness. Those are not the factors to stop us from dreaming. Those are actually fuel so we could move more miles in reaching the goal we set. Those could be the inspiration and motivation for us not to halt from dreaming but continue despite all the odds. Always remember this, once you have a dream, everything must be seen as a fuelling factor. Those are just failures; your ship must not capsize with a hole which is smaller than a nail's head. Thus, everyone must keep going and keep the torch burning. Failure is a literal concept of a negative backlash during the process. But it also stands for a better experience charged by life. First Attempt In Learning as how they define FAIL as an acronym must never be treated as a simple matter. Everyone needs a motivation so he or she could start, and an inspiration to continue making progress. So, to everyone who can read my words, never surrender nor quit when it comes to dreaming. Those were just simple factors which could halt us temporarily. Always take note that no waves will ever be bigger than your dreams. You just have to work it out. Someday, all the progress and success you have made will all be listed in a published letter with your name and stories of mere success. Materialise your dreams now and work hard for it because you are already half way there for a single word 'success' could mean a lot that the thickest encyclopedia will never accommodate.
