Rape isn't a joke. It isn't something we should be proud of either. But it really saddens me how women are too scared to let people around her know she's been raped. I know, she's ashamed, but remember, it was never her fault to begin with. She was taken advantage of by a man who didn't respect her as a woman, you cannot blame the woman for not trying to stop the man for doing what he did. In most cases, the woman is unconscious while the man takes advantage of her. She has no power to stop the man from doing so, especially because women are considered "weak" in the eyes of most men. But believe me, that woman tried to stop him, even if she says it or not, the man should know what he should and shouldn't do. So ladies, if you've been having a rough time keeping it to yourself, please, don't. It's not your fault and it will never be. The man does not deserve your pity and you can stand up for yourself! Don't let others' judgements define you, they don't know your story. Only you do and you have all the right to protect yourself. :)
