There is power in prayer

The pandemic COVID-19 has affected day to day life of the people and is slowing down the economy. Many people lost their jobs, businesses shut down, millions of people got infected, and some lost their lives.

It's really painful to see the current situation of the world and how this pandemic change our normal life.

But let us not just focus on the negative things that this pandemic cause. Let us use this situation to make a good impact and share good news to others.

As a student, the best thing I can do to help in this pandemic is through prayer and interceding.
The Lord says in His words,
“Call out to me when trouble comes. I will save you. And you will honor me.” (Psalms 50:15; cf. Psalm 91:15). People may see it as nothing important but in this time of pandemic prayer is the greatest thing we can do. For we are praying with the almighty God who is able to put this pandemic to end.

While others are risking their lives as frontliners, we are blessed while staying home. But we must not do nothing. As a normal citizen, we may not help them physically but staying home and following the health protocols are the least thing we can do for them. And of course the best we can do is to pray for them. Pray for the frontliners, for the infected to be healed, for every person not to be infected, for the economy not to shut down, for the development of vaccine, for this virus to end, and for the world to heal. The people need the Lord.
