The Philippine Peso

Amongst thousands of currencies around the world, the Philippine Peso has been considered as one of the most colorful currencies in the entire globe. Driven by the history of the Filipino culture, its designs have captivated both tourists and locals alike. Its rainbow-like combination left millions of people speechless making it more than just a currency, but also the pride of the “Perlas ng Silanganan”.

From Tarsiers, to its historical monuments and sites such as the Chocolate Hills, Mayon Volcano and Tubbataha Reefs, the Philippines has made currency more than just a way of trading, but also a new channel of branding the sites and countless adventures you can have while staying in one of their 7,641 islands (yep, it's not 7,107).

So the next time you hold a twenty, one-hundred or luckily, a one thousand-peso bill. Say it with pride, I am a Filipino “at mahal ko ang lahi at kultura ko”
