THE COVID19 Vaccine is here! #MyMotivation

The news that we have all been waiting for, the first vaccine for the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (CoViD19) has now completed its human trials and is now being funded for commercial distribution!

It’s all over international news, but how sure are we with this information? Let’s find out.

Russia has been one of the first few countries in the world to develop such a successful trial for the effectiveness of the vaccine. Russia’s news agency reported last Sunday that the research made by Sechenov University is done and they have proven that the vaccine is safe. The volunteers who have been injected with the vaccines will be discharged in two batches, July 15th and 20th and will be monitored and given medical supervision.

But another study shows that the “volunteer count” for the vaccine trial is still in Stage 1 and 2, wherein Stage 3 and 4 involves hundreds to thousands of people. This means that we may already have multiple vaccines being tested, not one of them is being distributed for mass purchase because it’s still going through trials. Nonetheless, we should know that:

•	70 potential CoViD19 treatments are in development,
•	21 of which are candidate vaccines and
•	3 of them are at the clinical stage where human trials begin, some of which are being tested in China which is now at Stage 3.

As the number of deaths reach 571K. Let’s continue hope and pray for researchers, epidemiologists and microbiologists alike to have the wisdom and continuous guidance in the creation of a vaccine that would soon put us on safe hands, so that we may live our lives the way it was before this pandemic.

For now, let's do some research before we actually believe what social media has to say.
