I recently discovered the barter movement and I would like everyone to know about it. 

Bartering is defined as "to trade by exchanging one commodity for another : to trade goods or services in exchange for other goods or services" by the Merriam Webster dictionary. 

This movement has been going on for a long, long time and I feel quite astonished not everyone knows about it. It pays homage to how our ancestors used to exchange for things that will be of benefit to them. 

This movement encourages the community to trade in their pre-loved materials to people who aims to make use of it. The materials can be just quite anything; it can be as small as a pin to a car. Its mechanics are simple: it has to be of the approximate value of the item to be traded. Sometimes people find things that are better than what they initially offered and in some scenarios people actually battle for such a steal.

In the video, a woman is in need of an extra income because of the ongoing pandemic. She is looking for Work From Home opportunities but she lacks the budget for it. She then found the "Bacolod Barter Community" that just caters to what she needs. She had a lot of vegetables in her yard and she decided to utilize this to garner fund for a computer package she will be needing to WFM. Now, somebody noticed her offer and traded with her a WHOLE computer package, she even got a free printer with it.
