Thankful for my first job #MYFIRSTJOB

I was one of the fresh graduates who have been affected in looking for a job after graduation. Covid-19 has bought a crisis in our economy. I am supposed to take apprenticeship after graduation but for some reason like a financial crisis for some firms and the sake of my safety, I have to postpone it. Joke. The truth is I am still not ready to take up an apprenticeship. I am at the stage where I want to try out new things before I continue another chapter in my chosen career which is Architecture. And my first job is online selling. As my family is also doing baking for selling and I also need to declutter some of my stuff, I tried selling clothes, foods, and even our plants in our garden so at least I can still have a little source of income. In my experience, as a person who doesn't even have a lot of connection to a business, I can say that it is hard. Also, because of the pandemic, I'm sure most of us have tried online selling, therefore, the competition became harder, or rather this maybe not the best time to sell because most of us are trying to do so. Doing a lot of things like posting, messaging friends, or even lowering the standard price of what you sell, then still, nothing happened. This makes me want to stop and to just finish my portfolio so I can now start looking for a firm to start an apprenticeship. But the best thing about my experience is my realization about success. I heard it a lot of times, which now makes sense, success is hard to get especially when you are just starting things out. It will consume a lot of your time. A LOT OF YOUR TIME, with a little recognition and credit. I want to share my experience before I graduate. That time, I was having my thesis proposal. I got stressed, disappointed and because of that, I got confused about what I want to do in my life, the feeling that you are not meant for it. For five years I am doing drafting, design, sketch, Autocad drawing, etc. I will admit I got tired of it. I told myself "I will try new things first", but after trying different things even my hobby like dancing, editing, writing, and doodling, it is still hard. We often have this mindset "I will be happy if I am doing what I want" actually, no. Even the things you love doing will bring you into rough situations in life. Even pursuing the things that you want will give you circumstances that will test your patience to see if you want it and if you deserve it. So don't think for the reward first, just keep doing and just keep growing.
