Do not be contented with being comfortable in the confines of the four corners of your own secured zone. Do not be satisfied by just playing a spectator’s role when there is something you can do and contribute. Do not be pleased with doing nothing with there is so much injustices happening!

What good will it really gives you when you are playing safe amidst many untoward incidents happening before your very nose? Will you really be safe when not doing anything is just making the perpetrators feel more confident and braver? Do you really think that you are not part of the story?

How can you sleep peacefully when you know there is something you can do to help a needy person? How can you be happy when there are so much abuses and mistreatments occurring in the country where you belong? How can you stomach clapping your hands and supporting the oppressors?

Will it really make you happy when you are only saving your own tail at the expense of putting others in danger? Will it make you feel satisfied when you are only thinking of yourself when there are so much killings and corruptions happening right before your very eyes? Will you really be gratified?

How can you make yourself believe that you are a good person when you did not do the good that you could have done? How can you teach your loved ones real love when you are only after the preservation of your own self? How can you live – silent and indifferent – when others are risking their lives?

Do you think it is no normal that people are just being killed for no valid reasons at all? Do you think it is fair that those who opposed power are being accused falsely and maliciously? Do you think that there is nothing on you when you just allow all this evil to happen without even expressing disgust?

It is on you! No matter how you try to make yourself believe that there is nothing you can, it is still on you. Even if you wash your hands like Pilate, it is still on you! Even if you are playing safe and hide in your own little box, you are involved! People like you are dying and you think you can just do nothing?

You need not go to war. You need not take weapons and be hostile against the hostile. You need not do harm to those who are doing harm. You need not malign those who are maligning. You need not hurt those who are cruelly hurting others. You only need to make a stand. You only need to stand for others!
