A fur parent from Kawit, Cavite was shocked upon seeing that her three shih tzus have turned pink after the naughty dogs destroyed the packaging of the colorant powder that she uses for her lip product business. 

Lhoris Torres, who sells lip tint and lip scrub, said she was surprised to see her dogs upon waking up on Monday morning. 

“Siguro po tulog pa kami naabot po ata nila ‘yung plastic then nginatngat nila hanggang sumabog ‘yung colorant powder,” she said. 

“Nagulat ako pagtingin ko sa kanila, pink na sila. Nandon ‘yung tuwa at inis ko kasi po grabe ‘yung kalat di ko pa kayang linisin mag-isa and aside dun, I’m worried baka masama sa kanila ‘yon,” she added. 

Fortunately, the colorant powder used in making her beauty products is edible. 

Torres immediately washed her pets but the color remained in their fur. 

As of writing, the color still hasn’t fully washed off. But Torres said her fur babies are scheduled to take a bath again this weekend. She is also regularly checking if the colorant caused irritation to their skin. 

“Wala naman po, araw-araw ko po silang chinecheck,” she said.
