Puto (flour) 

Ingredients 
1/2 cup sugar 
2 cups all-purpose flour 
1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder 
1/4 tsp. salt 1
 1/2 cups fresh milk 

Procedure 

1.Combine sugar, all-purpose flour, baking powder and salt. Add fresh milk. Beat until well incorporated. 

2.Prepare muffin pans or puto molds greased with butter. Pour the mixture into the muffin pans and steam for 30–40 minutes. 

The Chef Says: 

Modern puto molds are made of plastic and are quite inexpensive. Puto pieces are unmolded more quickly from plastic containers than metal ones.
