It has been undoubtedly hard for all of us, in many ways, to be stuck at home during the quaratine period. On top of that, many people find themselves quite guilty for not being "productive" or at least doing something new just as many so-called influencers encourage everyone to do. But I do think that these trying times are not the ones that put productivity as its premium priority. This quarantine period is not a contest to do more than others or achieve anything beyond average, because the thing is, it is totally fine to spend some days not focused on personal achievements but rather on maximizing the time with your loved ones. I know some people who are far more productive outside, just as I know some of my friends who do way better at home, reading books and stuff. The point is, everyone has its own way of spending the day and seeing things as more important above others. But I do realize that most people barely have opportunities like this to show their love to their family and create truly valuable memories with one another. Indeed, many people have died in pursuit of overcoming this pandemic and serving the people for the greater good. But isn't it ironic that while some people are actually out there risking their lives to save another, here comes the pool of achievement-oriented ones who would rather have their jobs and paycheck secured rather than put their relationships forward. Productivity is no bad thing; and people who are used to practising such lifestyle are no issue either. In fact, the world needs people like them. But not everyone is productive at home. And not everyone has the same means and amount privilege that everyone else is having. Living everyday us already blessing. I sincerely hope for everyone's safety and sense of security during these trying times. Although it is truly hard for all of us, I know that in His plan, everything is already set to be fine. Remember to cherish your time with your loved ones, because we don't live forever, you know? This pandemic has opened my eyes that there are people who would willingly sacrifice their lives for others. I think it's one of the most precious realizations to make us see the reality of things--where things do not last forever. Be productive in your own way, but never fail to try to make the most out of it with the people you share your heart with.
