#PisoparasaLaptop

Den Pasco, 17, is in need of a laptop for his online classes set to resume on September 7.

He is an incoming Civil Engineering student at Cavite State University-Indang.

His father is a pipe fitter while his mother works in a factory. During the lockdown, both of Pasco’s parents lost their source of income.

Since then, they have struggled to pay for their household bills. They’ve relied on the government’s assistance and help from their relatives for their basic necessities.

His older sister, who is working at a fast food chain, covers the monthly payment for their family’s WiFi unit.

To help his family, Pasco opened up art commissions for calligraphy and landscape painting.

He also joined the #PisoParaSaLaptop campaign on August 8, hoping to raise money for a laptop that he and his 4 siblings can use.

“I can’t afford to stop [school] for a year because I want to finish college as early as I can and help my family,” Pasco said.
