Hi! As I mentioned on my last post, I would like to create a series of post sharing how I cope up with stress this pandemic. I would like to help as well as make my posts a platform for other users to share their own struggles and tips with other people. APPRECIATE YOURSELF MORE, YOU ARE WORTHY This post is for everyone who graduated in college this 2020. We struggled for 4+years to get that degree only to be stucked in this pandemic. I know that getting a job these days is VERY difficult knowing that most companies stopped hiring not to mention laid off most of their employees. I recently graduated from one of the 'prestigious' universities in the Philippines. They always say that it will be easier for me to find a job because I came from this univ. The fact is, I've been unemployed for almost 4 months now. I got rejected by most of the companies I've applied to. It made me doubt myself if I really deserve my degree. I spent most days just sleeping, zero motivation. Am I very stupid or is it really just because we're on the middle of a pandemic? Good thing, I always get a chance to talk to my co-graduates and guess what, they are also experiencing the same. It made me reevaluate my current state of mind. I am trying hard, I am not the problem. Finding a job is hard enough but to find a job amidst pandemic? Almost impossible. YOU ARE WORTHY, YOU ARE ENOUGH, APPRECIATE YOURSELF MORE It's about time to stop doubting yourself. You will get what you need in time. Just focus on your goals. This is just the start. I will make a new post with tips detailing how I get through a day during these stressful days. Playing, journaling etc. Comment your own struggles and tips, maybe we can talk about it?
