I did not know that okra flowers lasts for 7 to 12 hours only. I was unable to take a picture when it was in full bloom yesterday morning. In the afternoon it closed as a bud then early morning it detached from the plant and fell on its own.
I did a little research and I found out that okra flowers live shortly in few hours because it undergo a process called self pollination.
After 2 months of planting it has rare flower in bloom and I saw it for a while. 
In a few days I will wait for its fruit to appear and harvest. 
But I will check now and then for new buds to open. 
Like the okra flowers that had undergo normal process from germination to a full grown plant, the flower may be short lived but it bears its fruit.
