Can you imagine a 9-year old girl assigned as a cashier in a restaurant? Yes, for me, that was my first job. Though I was not officially listed in the payroll of my uncle's restaurant because of course, I was an underage that time, I still considered it as my first job. Every time the class has ended and there was no class, I always like to stay at my uncle's restaurant. Sometimes I helped making halo-halo and burgers. Sometimes I washed the dishes. That depends on my mood. My aunt is really the cashier and whenever she had to do something, she'll call me and ask to take the part. Also, at the end of the day, I do the balancing of the cash on hand and the sales for the day with some expenses. I considered this as my first job because I have learned a lot from doing this. It may not be nothing for you but for me, it gave an impact to which why I am into business right now. Also, I was paid P60 at the end of day and got some tips from the customers. Work experience and educational background are two of the bases when you apply for a job but for me, they are just bonuses and your edges because what matters the most is one's attitude in everything he does.
