Danill Panelo

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is safe. I am a newbie here. This is my first time to post something positive on this website. Please excuse my grammar because I am not that good at English grammar.

I just want to share my experience with my first job. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education major in General Education. It was the year 2014 when I graduated from college. I decided to save money since I wanted to try my luck here in Metro Manila. But, I also need to take the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) on that year. So, my father asked me to enroll in a review center. We had classes every weekend from April to May. I still had two and a half months before the exam. Fortunately, one of my college friend who worked in a tutorial center asked me if I want to be a tutor. Wow! It was a blessing for me. Of course, I said yes!

The tutorial center is located 30-45 mins away from our town. My shift was 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Every morning I need to review before going to work and that was my daily routine. My salary during that time was 3,000 Philippines pesos still not bad. I had to teach the Grade 4 and 5 pupils. Help them in advance with their lessons and assignments. It was an amazing experience that you are being paid for your hard work. They said nothing last forever, a week before my exam I decided to resign since I needed to go to Baguio to relax with my friends.

One thing I learned from my first job is that you have to be grateful for all the blessings even if it's small or big things. Now I am happy and contented with my job here in Manila as Transaction Processing Associate.

That's all for my first job. Again, I'm sorry for the grammar lapses. Keep safe everyone! Heart Heart! <3 :)
