Staying inside our own home for a long time can sometimes result to an enormous levels of boredom, anxiety, and other mental health issues. To lessen or get rid of these negativities, here are my list of recommendations. MY TOP 3 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR YOU TO DO WHEN YOU ARE #ATHOME • EXERCISE Due to the increasing cases of COVID-19, it is now mandated to make yourself physically healthy and strong, and working out surely is the best way to start a healthy and virus-fighting kind of lifestyle. Taking at least 15-30 mins. of your time is already enough to get your heart pumping! Remember that a healthy heart is also a healthy lungs (not just that, it can also contribute to your well-being) since these two organs connect via the pulmonary valve and is close to each other. That is why, it is important to have both our circulatory and respiratory systems be strong to fight against the virus. Additionally, aside from it's physical contribution, doing exercises can have you mentally stable as it helps your body pump oxygen up to your brain thus, making you feel good from the inside to the outside. • DEVELOP A SKILL It is very important to do something for our leisure to maintain our minds' health and to keep us sane. In this time of pandemic, SOME of the students had their schools cease its classes for about five(5) months ago from now and hasn't been able to develop and use their cognitive/intellectual skills that much. And so, to add some extra spice with your leisure time, challenge yourself and develop a certain skill. Here are some things you can possibly do: ✓Learn how to draw ✓Learn a language ✓ Learn to play an instrument ✓Join webinars ✓and many more... Progress is a long process. There's no shortcut with everything so STRIVE NOT HARD, NOT HARDER BUT STRIVE TO YOUR HARDEST! Inspire, be inspired, challenge yourself and see the improvements within months and you'll be fulfilled! •JOURNAL YOUR DAY/WEEK Daily/weekly reflection can make you a real difference with your everyday life. It is always important to at least journal your life or daily situations. Question yourself: What are the things you are grateful for today? Think of what you appreciate within your day. It is also good to journal your daily routine for you to be reminded of the things that you want to fulfill for a certain time. Journal your feelings and experiences in life. Let out all the emotions that you can't open up to someone at least for this time. But make sure to speak up as soon as possible to maintain your calmness and sanity. Also remember that you don't have to make an aesthetically made journal. Write what you feel and how you feel it should be done. Don't be someone's work. Just be yourself, you can do it!
