Last March 10, when Enhanced Community Quarantine is just about to start, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto shared a photo on his Instagram Story with the caption "Let's stay calm but be ready for anything" amidst COVID-19 pandemic.

As of today, there are almost 400 confirmed cases in Pasig City and as part of its efforts in battling the disease, the local government has recently begun the mass testing of its residents with the help of The Medical City.

The local government also distributed a supplementary cash assistance amounting to P8,000 to 150,000 residents of Pasig City who are not covered by DSWD Social Amelioration Program, they also distributed cash allowance for Pasig City Scholars through this mobile app called Paymaya, they also provided free transportation for frontliners, they also opened a community kitchen for them and mobile market for the residents.
