Here are the tips to dominate the game using the Tank/Fighter RUBY:

First of all, if you're planning to use Ruby or if she is your main hero, always remember that her durability in a team fight is based on the life steal she gets. So, having Haas Claw and Endless battle would greatly help Ruby in every team fight. Also, having Oracle will almost make Ruby immortal.

Usually, I buy mask first - if you're playing as a tank but, you can either choose between Hunter's knife or boots, it actually depends on the situation and your game style. 

If you're playing as a tank, it's important that you are always with the damage dealer, help farming, clearing the lanes, and providing vision so you won't get ganked by the enemy.

SIMPLE TIPS: Choose the right items, always provide vision, make the right judgment/decision.
