MAN'S BESTFRIEND

Pet ownership improves one's physical and mental health. Studies show that pet ownership reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, helps to prevent heart disease, helps to fight depression, and therefore lowers one's healthcare costs (APPMA.org). Dogs are very compassionate, caring, warm and softhearted they can help with your personal and emotional feelings.

Humans have many reasons for owning pets. Brickel (1986). It can differ on the person. But personally, we own a pet because it brightens and enlightens the mood in our house when we are not feeling it. Sometimes they come to you just to seek your attention but sometimes they snub you until they feel it.

Animal companionship is an integral aspect of life in the United States, with approximately 70 million homes claiming at least one pet as a member of the household (A.C. Nielson, 2002). There is more to owning a dog than just being together. You may find them unruly but it s all part of the 'fun' that they give you. They increases the bond between you and themselves over the years that's why you are loving them.

Do treat them like a family member because they love you more than their lives.

Once again, dogs are man's bestfriend.
