Hi. This is my first post. Live for the moment is my life motto. I'm the youngest sibling from 8 siblings. Sadly, my voice is heard the least in my family. But since people don't listen to me, I listen to them more than I speak. Surprusingly, it made me realize a few importance things. One of my siblings want to gather the wealth so taht she could retire at a young age and spend the rest of her day in peace. My other sibling wants to work hard until he couldn't anymore. He wants to be useful. My other sibling send his children and wife to live in another country so that the children can receive a better education. He plans to stay with his family when he retired. Hearing that, it made me think, why are we investing so much in the future? Even sacrificing in the moment. The future is unknown, unexpected and unplanned things might happen along the way. People might change as well. Most importantly, there is no gurantee that we have a future. Not trying to be negative, but life and death is inseparable. The only difference is we know our birth date but we don't know when our life will end. So, I decided to leave the future to the fate. Not saying I don't plan for my future. I still keep a day job and save some money for later use but I don't want to be so invested in the future that I forget today's happiness. The future is a mystery, but now is the reality. So let's embrace today with lots of love and happiness.
