Here's how to make an easy but delicious BUCHI! Dough: 1/2 Glutinous Rice or Galapong 1/2 cup Sesame Seeds Cooking Oil Filling (optional) 2/3 cups sugar 1 cup evaporated milk 1/3 cup cornstarch 3 pcs egg yolks, slightly beaten 1 tbsp all-purpose flour pinch of salt 1/4 cup butter 1/2 tsp vanilla Steps: Let's cook the filling first! Mix all together the sugar, milk, cornstarch, eggs and all-purpose flour in a pan and cook it while continuously stirring over low fire until thick. As soon as it thickens, remove from heat and let's add milk, egg yolks, butter and vanilla. Then cook again for 2 minutes then let it cool. For the dough: If you're using a glutinous rice flour, mix the glutinous rice flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, salt, and 1/4 cup water together in a large bowl; knead together just enough to form balls. Flatten after. (size depending on you) If you're using a galapong, just mold/form it into balls. Flatten after. (size depending on you) And NOOWWW, let's put the filling! :) Put 1 tbsp. of the cooked filling in the center of our dough. Then roll it in your hand, form it into a ball. Make sure it is seal well. Then, roll it in sesame seeds. Set aside. Heat cooking oil in a pan. I suggest more oil to make it crunch on the outside and gooey/soft on the inside. Then deep fry. Drain in paper towels and we are ready to serve!!! You can sell each for 7-10 pesos. It depends on you! :) Happy selling to you!
