Week 4: I am Encouraging

In this week, we will learn how to be an encouraging person. 😊

Three spiritual things you can do:

1.	Encourage others daily. You have no idea what God might do through a single word of encouragement. One word of encouragement can be enough to spark someone’s motivation to continue with a difficult challenge. 

	13 You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none 	of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. - Hebrews 3:13

If you have something good to say, say it. 

	29 Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and 	helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear 	them. - Ephesians 4:29

	24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good 	works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, 	but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is 	drawing near. - Hebrews 10:24-25


2.	Encourage others spiritually. Find and take every opportunity to encourage someone in their faith with the Lord. 

	10 One of the things I always pray for is the opportunity, God willing, to 	come at last to see you. 11 For I long to visit you so I can bring you some 	spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord. 12 When we get 	together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be 	encouraged by yours. - Romans 1:10-12

	17 As iron sharpens iron,
    	so a friend sharpens a friend. - Proverbs 27:17


3.	Encourage yourself in the Lord. It is possible to find yourself alone with no one to encourage you. However, you must always remember that the Lord loves you more than you can imagine and He is always there for you. Our God is bigger than anything that you are facing right now. 
	
	7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. - 
	1 Peter 5:7

	10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
    	Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
	I will strengthen you and help you.
    	I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. - Isaiah 41:10

When you are discouraged or feeling down, remember that there’s no problem that is too big for you if you find your strength in the Lord.
