Every Filipinos favorite recipe. CHICKEN PORK ADOBO!!! Ingredients: 2tbsp of Canola Oil, 7 cloves of crushed garlic, 1pc onion, sliced, 3 small cuts of ginger, 700-750 grams of chicken (thigh, legs, & wings) 200-250 grams of pork liempo, cut into 1 inch cubes, 3tbsp of vinegar, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 2pcs bay leaves 1tsp of black peppercorns, 1cup of water and 1tsp of brown sugar Cooking Time!! 1. Heat the pan with oil on medium heat and saute the garlic onion and ginger for a minute or two. 2. Add the chicken and pork liempo into the pot, sear on all sides until the meat turns brown. adjust heat if possible. 3. Pour the vinegar, soy sauce,water and black pepper. bring this up to boil over high heat then lower it to a simmer. Do not cover the pot about 20 minutes. 4. Separate the chicken and pork then fry it on a separate pan for 2-3mins. when it's done, bring meat back into the pot and add the sugar, simmer it for 6 minutes until the sauce reached a syrup- like. 5. Enjoy it with a bowl of steaming rice, soda, fruit juice and water.
