I have always been an aspiring lawyer ever since I was a child. My parents saw how good I am at speaking and debates. They also saw how much I enjoy learning and expanding my knowledge through reading. Two years ago, I tried joining the most prestigious university that has produced exemplary lawyers in the country but, I failed. Don't worry! I got into another university and told myself that I will try to transfer in the next upcoming academic school year. 

Months have passed and I have been preparing for the special test. Unfortunately, I missed the application period and was unable to submit my exam permit because I misunderstood the instructions. (Their instructions was odd compared to other universities.) I told myself that I'd just give up on my dream because maybe this is a sign from the universe that it just wasn't meant to be. 

Flash forward to May and I have read a lot of posts about people asking for reconsideration for transfer. I decided to email the office and they told me that they have granted transfer application. I worked so hard on my personal essay and I poured out everything on that essay. 

Last night, at 11:53 PM I got an email congratulating me! I got into my dream school with my dream course! Out of all the hundreds of transfer applicants, they told me that they saw I have the potential to be a student of their community!
