HOW TO SURVIVE COLLEGE : TIP #1

I am not a life coach or an expert in anyway. I am just a Nursing student with a lot to share.

Firstly, I want to reiterate that study habits are subjective. What works for me might not work for you, but of course you are encouraged to try!

My first tip helped me through my freshman year of Nursing School. I finished my first year with a gpa of 1.66 which is approximately a 95%.

TIP 1 :
Prioritize subjects you struggle with.

I know this seems obvious but I have seen a lot of my friends spend too much time on our easier classes. Personally, classes I excel in are Math, Theology, Logic, Purposive Communication and Psychology. During exam week, I spend no more than 3 hours studying for all 5 of these subjects and garnered a 1.0 for all 4 classes (the highest you can get, which is 100-99%) at the end of each semester.

I spend most of my time on classes that I struggle with, this is because I need more time to analyze my books and notes. Also, I do extra research and reading for my harder classes, something I do not need to do with my "forte classes".

That's it! Remember to take breaks and enjoy college! Good luck :)
