They say that what you feed your mind is in direct proportion of how you think and act and how much love you can extend for others. Is your mental breakfast always facebook? Is your mental dinner always Netflix? It is very healthy to set a time and just stop everything you're doing and re-evaluate the things you do for a day. Feed your mind with positivity and you will automatically see the difference between spending all the time with your phone, neglecting the time you have for your family, forgetting to do certain tasks because of the continuous swipe up and down on TikTok, and many necessary things we set aside for unnecessary things.
Psalm 90:12 Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. This pandemic brought us to just stay at our house and have all the time we need to do the necessary things. It is alright to take a rest, but we need to learn how to number our days. Every second that we waste through scrolling our social media accounts is time wasted. If you compute the hours you spent with your social media, it can be equivalent to months of doing nothing but just scrolling and reading negativities posted in those accounts. Those hours can be spent well if only we evaluate our priorities and start doing it one step at a time.
So ask your self again. What are you feeding your mind? Is that junk or is that healthy food for your mental health? I pray that it is the latter. Have a good day š Inspire others.
