I know why you are reading this. Some of you are quite interested to know the secret because you maybe have self-esteem issues, weight issues, and more. This is a personal reminder of what beauty is all about. Guess what is the only secret? In my personal experience of self-love journey and knowledge coming from Audrey Hepburn and other positive social media influencers that I have admired, this is the answer. It's not about physical beauty. It's not about how thin you are. It's not about how sexy your curves are. It's not about how beautiful your face is. It's not about what society expects of you to be just because of its own strict beauty standards. The real keys to beauty are the following: self-love, kindness, and the focus on the beautiful qualities about yourself. That's it! Be the best version of yourself! It doesn't matter how you look like! When you begin practicing loving yourself for your strengths, flaws, imperfections, talents, and for everything that you are, you are starting to shine. You will find others looking at you. Think positive in life especially about yourself! In life, there have been people criticizing us, not being honest with us, and other things. Some of us may have experienced being bully-victims. However, think of it like this. According to psychology, every person that you know is simply a mirror of how you feel about yourself whether it's family, a classmate, a friend, or a co-worker. It doesn't matter how bad the situation can be. If you truly and consistently receive a lack of respect, it means you lack self-respect. Don't listen to your family growing up nor to society. The way you feel about yourself reflects your physical self and aura. In my opinion, the bonus is there when there is a mixture of make-up, work-out and healthy eating. “The beauty in a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart; the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring and that she lovingly gives the passion that she shows and the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.”- Audrey Hepburn Photo Credit: Gustavo Fring
