According to a study, that owning a pet and having a bond with them may increase the fitness, lower the stress, and bring happiness to their owner. It also has a lot of benefits including:

-Decreased of blood pressure.
-Decreased of cholesterol levels.
-Decreased of triglyceride levels.
-Decreased feelings of loneliness.
-Increased opportunities for exercise and outdoor activities.
-Increased opportunities for socialization.

It is really true that there's a lot of benefits when you have a pet but still we cannot avoid the fact that they can also carry harmful germs. And by that, we must choose the right pet for us before adopting.
