Filipino is known for being one of the family-oriented people. We spend most of our holidays and free times with our family. They are our main inspiration in everything that we do. There is one member of the family who loves to spoil everyone, it's our grandma!

My Grandma or Lola is the most selfless person that I know, she is willing to give everything that she has just to make her grandchildren's happy even though there's nothing left for them. They are the one's who will cook your favourite food during holidays, kiss you and hugs you even you are in your 30s, let's admit it, grandparents love cuddles hahaha

The sad part is when we grow up, we spend too much time outside. We become busy with our studies, works, trips and neglect them. We only visit them when it's a holiday or special occasions, but they never complain, right?

I lost my grandma years ago, and it's the most painful thing I've ever experienced. I have a lot of regrets, I should spend more time with her because that what she only wants. I wish I said I love her and how thankful I am that she is my grandma. But I'm okay now knowing that she is at peace and no more pain.

But to you who's reading this right now, if you still have your grandparents with you consider yourself lucky. Show them you love them, show them you appreciate them and tell how much you love them because you will never know what will happen tomorrow. If you have the time now, do it.
