Hebrews 13:16
"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased"
.
A boy and a mother went out to the mall to celebrate the boy's birthday. They do not have enough money to throw a party at the house or prepare some dishes for his birthday so they went out just to do window shopping and buy some cheap foods.
They came in to a cupcake & cake shop to buy a cupcake. The boy wanted his mother to buy a cake for him but the mother couldn't afford it. The man next to them overheard their conversation and felt pity for the boy.
He bought the cake and went to the mother and boy's table to give it to him. The mother insisted to get his number just so she can pay her back when she get enough money but the man declined and hand a note to the boy.
20 years later, similar situation happened on a mall where a boy and his mother pass through a cupcake & cake shop and the boy wanted his mother to buy him a cake since it's his birthday, but the mother couldn't afford it so she just bought her son 2 pieces of cupcakes. The man next to them heard their convo, bought the cake and gave it to them. The mother insisted to add her on social media for her to message him to pay him back when she get enough money but then, the man declined and handed a note on the boy.
The mother and the boy went home and the boy was overjoyed for he gets the cake that he wants. They ate the cake together with his grandpa.
His grandpa was puzzled on how they get the cake. He knows that it's expensive and they don't have enough money to buy it so he asked the mother, "Where did you get the money to buy this cake?", the mother answered, "I didn't buy it. A man bought it and gave it to us. He even handed a note". The mother gave the note to the old man. The thing written was,
"When you get the chance to help others, do it. A simple act of kindness creates an endless ripple."
The old man was in tears. It was the same message on the note he gave to a boy in the shop 20 years ago. And yes, the man who bought the cake for the kid was the same boy from 20 years ago.
.
If you'll have a chance to help others, don't ever hesitate. The same person you'll help might not be able to pay you back but the Lord has it's ways on how to bless you and to return what you gave in an even better blessing. š§”
