Fireworks, blaring sound of horns, greetings, laughter and smiles, everything was perfect as we welcome the year 2020, however, with just one click, everything went down. A lot of news came, and I must say that we are really not prepared for these things to happen, all at once. I repeatedly question God, why? When will our suffering end? When will this pandemic end? I'm losing my hope!

Sometimes, the storm takes us completely by surprise. 

Fear, fear has gotten inside of us. During this time, it's good to go back to God's word, because God's word reminds us not to fear how the way the world fears, instead, we should look into the encouragement from Him. God invites us to search and find our joy, shelter, and peace in Him during the storm.

There is hope, yes, hope in this time of crisis. Despite of these unfortunate things that are happening, GOOD NEWS is always there, and we did not realize that in our daily life, we are receiving it. Waking up in the morning with new life and no sickness is already a good news to each one of us. Having a shelter to live, food to eat, clothes to wear are also part of the good news. The good news is that we have a God who is unchanging, a God who gives us unending GRACE even though we do not deserve it, a God who will never leave us nor forsake us, especially in this time of crisis. We just need to believe, and have faith and hope. 

To stay firm in faith in a time of crisis, we need to remember who God is and what He has done for us in the past.
