Republic Act 10929 otherwise known as the "Free Internet Access in Public Places Act" has just been signed by President Rodrigo Duterte.

According to the Facebook Post by the Presidential Communications (Government of the Philippines), the Act mandates the government, including local government units (LGUs), to provide free internet access in government offices and public places.
