FIGHT! Depression and Loneliness #MyMotivation

"Take the risk, drop any fear"

The Isolation brought by the restrictions of the quarantine has brought not only economic problems to Filipinos, but as well as psycho-social ones. It's an undeniable fact the depression, loneliness and sadness are common effects of being alone or isolating yourself with your social circle.

But today I'll show you 3 tips on how you can go through this tough time, and to remind yourself that you're not alone and many people want to be with you in this trying times.

1. Communicate!
Using your android phone, you could explore the following apps I used to help cure that feeling of loneliness through communicating with people all around the world.

      I. Zaky

This app has a lot of Filipinos using it, its a chatroom app where you basically talk (through voice or through chat) with anonymous people through live voice broadcasts, you could also share music, GIFs, and posts statuses to inspire everyone's day (It's safe and I never experienced harassment while staying in the app)

      II. Bottled

Widen your social circle across the globe by meeting other people from other countries. The concept of the app is that you have to write a message in a bottle, throw it off the ocean and wait for someone to pick it up. I have made friends around the world through this app and it has changed my perspectives A LOT! Give it a try.

2. Be Engaged

Try new things, bake, exercise, learn calligraphy, or practice English conversations with your friends. Distract yourself from the sad news about COVID19 and focus on improving the skills and knowledge for your future.

3. Pray

Prayers can move mountains, so pray that this pandemic would be over, and also ask guidance and protection for our front-liners, our beloved family and most treasured friends. Thank God for everything you had and ask courage to fight through every emotional battle you have to face.

And remember, whenever everything falls down, just say to yourself "Kaya ko ito". It's not wrong to feel sad, but choosing to stay sad is what makes it wrong. We have gone through more tough battles in our life. COVID19 may have taken lives, but it won't be enough to take down the fighting spirit of Filipinos.
