“You have COVID-19,”—words that no one wishes to hear, yet are received by millions of people worldwide. Jose Cruz is one of those persons. For many, the problem is compounded with the threat of a failing economy and losing one’s job, which too often nurture anxiety and the loss of hope. 
What Jose does however, is to draw from his past experiences, such as when the 2018 recession left him with no job but still the need to support his wife and three children.

Now in 2020, the pandemic hits. Yet, despite the direness of the situation, Jose is not discouraged in this recounting of how one can overcome even the most seemingly hopeless of circumstances.
