I attend a church where Easter Sunday is named Resurrection Sunday to better reflect the purpose of this celebration.
We usually put up a short skit followed by our pastor preaching a message on the resurrection of Jesus and then an altar call is made.
We invite our non-Christian friends to this ceremony and many were moved by the message and laid down their lives to Jesus.
There are no easter eggs, bunnies, or anything else connected with past religious festivities.
