Do It For The Kids

Right now, we live in an uncertain world. A lot of unfortunate things have happened and we are only slightly beyond halfway of the year 2020. It seems like it cannot get any worse. I hope it doesn't get any worse. I don't think my soul can take it.

Bushfires killing thousands of animals, deaths and now this nightmare, the COVID-19 pandemic. Could we have done something different to change all of this? Is it something that we really cannot control? Life has come to a halt and everything seem to have changed. But it is never too late. We can all become better than we were yesterday. We can care more for the environment. We can be more mindful of our health. We can be more aware of the world. We can be more appreciative of life and spend each day like its our last. We can be kinder. We can love more. We can live more. Through this, at least we can make even the tiniest bit of a difference and create a little spark of hope. And that little spark from each of us can come together to create a light for a better world. Not just for ourselves, but also for our children. A better world they can grow up in, where they can be better people who would truly value what is good and right.

We have truly been burdened so much by so many things this year and the least we can do is change what we can control so the future wouldn't be as hard for our children. If we knew more, if we cared more, if we were mindful of the consequences of what we do, maybe, just maybe, things could have been different. What is left for us now is to know how to go all out with our power to change the world. Because with how everything is right now, we could be better.
