The country's third telco player, DITO Telecommunity, a newly-formed partnership between Udenna Corporation and China Telecom, subleased an 8-hectare property in Clark Global City (CGC) to house DITO's main Data Center and Campus.

• According to the official announcement through the official website of Udena Group, the DITO Telecommunity Data Center which is considered as a critical component to begin DITO's commercial operations, will be designed after Google's campus-style headquarters.

• The DITO Data Center will hold operational departments, Network Operations Center, Servecall Center, and Regional Center. It will also serve as the hub for DITO's Research and Development (R&D) in the telecommunications space.

• In an official statement Dennis Uy, Chairman of DITO Telecommunity Corporation and Udenna Land, "We are excited to build an iconic DITO Campus here in Clark." "This is a clear indication of our commitment to provide world-class telecommunications services that the Filipinos deserve and to continue to prime Clark Global City with quality locators," Uy stated.

• The DITO Data Center Project in Pampanga will generate significant employment in the region - hiring 800 Filipinos in the first year all the way to a total of 4,500 locals on year 5.

• There will be an initial P13.6 billion investment in the first year of operation with an additional P6.9 billion to be spend in the subsequent 4 years in service.

• Atty. Adel Tamano, DITO Telecom's Chief Administrative Officer also stated that "This project will bring innovative an cutting-edge technologies, from high-end 5G capabilities to top-tier data centre infrastructure systems," Tamano said.

• Meanwhile, the President of Udenna Land, Wilfredo Placino stated that they are looking forward to starting the construction in 3 months or in November 2020, as they claimed that they are more than excited to spur business development in Clark.

• With the state-of-the-art DITO Data Center located at the heart of Clark Business District, local and foreign businesses will surely be encouraged to establish operations in Clark Global City.
