Building and setting up a community pantry somewhere can be a good and fun idea as long as people are disciplined enough when they gather around especially during these times. It is a great humanitarian cause. It can be a fun set-up. It can help the poor or the needy as well as alleviate the hunger during the pandemic. The hunger situation has been getting worse since the pandemic. However, whenever the safety and healthy protocols are always being violated in the process, setting up a community pantry cannot be a good idea due to the possible additional cases of covid-19. Other ways of providing food and help shall be done in order to help the needy during these times of crisis. In my personal opinion, community pantries can be great as long as there is a limit number of persons per day and everyone is disciplined.
