A month ago, my family launched our "Ready-to-Cook Ekalicious Chicken Lumpia". Ekalicious because Eka is my nickname and "licious" from the word delicious! haha That time, I gathered everyone to have a meeting in the dining area. and I acted as if I'm the CEO of our imaginary company. I asked my mom what business can we come up with and what food can we offer to the world. Then, we had a brainstorming, we exhange ideas, concepts, plans, food, and all. My sister who is a graphic artist suggested some marketing strategies, and I being a teacher, will be the one to promote our product using social media platforms. So, I'm the CEO and SMM (Social Media Manager) haha! Tedeen! we came up with our Chicken Lumpia! My mom is the person behind our yummy lumpia! but you know what? People love it! Why am I saying this? Your dreams will be fulfilled if you will work for it. There's nothing wrong saying that I'm the CEO. Why not? Right? But being a CEO will not happen if I will not work hard for it! As the saying goes, "Libre ang mangarap". God will move mysteriously in your life but of course, you have to stand, move and He will do the rest. We didn't expect that people will continuously support our small business. We have a lot of satisfied customers and repeat orders. Oops! I'm not saying that you patronize also our product. I just want to inspire you to dream and believe. Everything is possible if you will trust the process. Also, you will not achieve success in a snap. Plan it, Execute it, and Work hard for it! I'm not saying also that we are already earning a lot. From being a teacher for 9 years, I'm now proud to be a lumpia vendor and there's nothing wrong with that. I enjoy making lumpia than checking tons of papers that I even sacrifice my sleeping hours for that. It is true that when you enjoy your work; work becomes play. - Martin Yan
