As an antioxidant, it may also help fight against inflammation which is something that can damage the lungs as well as other organs. A 2020 paper states that the very high doses of Vitamin C may change the manner that the immune cells die. The more that the person is unwell, the more increase of Vitamin C may be needed to take. Based on the actual research and evidence, it may help treat inflammation and symptoms of coronavirus. It may still not cure the condition. A handful of research may continue to evolve before it may give a more concrete answer.
